How to Prevent StaffCounter PRO from Being Stopped by Built-in Power-Saving Programs
Since Android 6, all phones include built-in power-saving programs that automatically stop background processes to extend battery life. Monitoring applications like StaffCounter PRO run in the background and do not display UI elements, making them likely to be terminated first.
To prevent this, you should allow the app to run in the background and disable battery optimization — even during initial setup. If this was not done, you can configure it now. Go to Phone Settings → Apps → Menu → Special Access → Battery Optimization.
Select All apps instead of “Apps not optimized”, then find System Android and Support Android, and set both to Don’t optimize (uncheck them).
This is the general method. However, settings vary by manufacturer. Below are instructions for disabling power-saving features on different devices.
- Open Settings → Device Care → Battery → Power Mode:
– Power mode → Optimized,
– Adaptive power saving → Off;
