How to connect a new device instead of old one
If your old computer is no longer working, you can transfer the activation to a new device by following these steps:
- Log in to your profile at https://data.staffcounter.net.
- Find the device you want to replace in the list.
- Click the pencil icon next to the device name.
- In the edit window, locate the Device ID — an 8-character code. Copy or write it down.
- Install and run the StaffCounter program on your new computer or phone.
- During the first launch, the program will prompt you to connect to the server. In the email field, enter the previously saved Device ID.
- The program will connect to the existing slot on the server. Your old data will be preserved, and you won’t need to pay for an additional workplace.
