How to connect a new device instead of old one

If your old computer is no longer working, you can transfer the activation to a new device by following these steps:

  1. Log in to your profile at https://data.staffcounter.net.
  2. Find the device you want to replace in the list.
  3. Click the pencil icon next to the device name.
  4. In the edit window, locate the Device ID — an 8-character code. Copy or write it down.
  5. Install and run the StaffCounter program on your new computer or phone.
  6. During the first launch, the program will prompt you to connect to the server. In the email field, enter the previously saved Device ID.
  7. The program will connect to the existing slot on the server. Your old data will be preserved, and you won’t need to pay for an additional workplace.
