When Does the Agent Update Settings from the Server?

The StaffCounter Agent automatically updates its settings from the server in the following cases:

• When the computer is turned on;
• Every 2 hours during active operation;
• When monitoring is manually paused via the system tray;
• When a manual update is requested.

If you need to apply the latest settings immediately, click the StaffCounter icon in the system tray, go to the “Options” section, and click “Update settings“.

The agent will fetch the most recent configuration from the server within 60 seconds.
