What Happens to StaffCounter if There is No Internet Access?
When the internet is unavailable, StaffCounter continues operating normally, recording all computer or mobile device activity locally. Once the connection is restored, the program automatically uploads all stored data to the server starting from the last successful transmission.
If the device remains offline for more than 5 days, log files older than 5 days are automatically removed to free up space.
On computers, you can view today’s locally stored log file by clicking the StaffCounter icon in the system tray and selecting the corresponding command.
What Happens to the StaffCounter Agent if the Virtual Device on the Server is Deleted?
If you delete the virtual device from the server, the StaffCounter agent will attempt to reconnect up to 10 times.
After these attempts, the agent will stop uploading data but will continue to operate offline.
To reconnect the StaffCounter agent to your account, you must uninstall it and then reinstall it on the target device.
