How to Disable the StaffCounter Icon in the System Tray on a PC

Currently, it is not possible to disable the StaffCounter tray icon on the cloud server. This is mandatory per privacy policy: employees must be aware that monitoring software is installed on their computer.

On a local server, you can disable the tray icon if required by your company’s internal policy:

Log in to your account and open the Settings page.

  • Select the desired department.
  • Disable the Show icon in the system tray option.
  • Save the settings.
